East won 2-0 in the 8th inning. The game was locked 0-0 and had to go into extra innings. The teams were well matched and it was a well played game. For East, the leadoff batter in the 8th inning stuck out, the second batter, Allie Chase reached on an error to start off the inning. Brittany Devlin came up big with a line drive down the right field line that resulted in a triple and an RBI. Jess Haug continued the inning with a single up the middle and had an RBI. For Pennridge, Detweiler was 2-for-4 with 2 singles. Decew, Hofmann, and McCreary also had hits for Pennridge but they were unable to score.
