The Pennridge Lady Rams came into the game to play the role of spoiler, spoil Souderton's near flawless record, and they did just that, handing the visitors a 3-1 loss. In the 5th inning with one out, Bridget Casey singled. She was erased on a fielders choice by Emily Mayhew. So with 2 outs and Mayhew at first, Alison Horne ripped a first pitch to right field, moving Mayhew to 3rd and going to 2nd on the throw to 3. The Briana Gery single to right scoring Mayhew and moving Horne to 3rd. Haley Taylor then singled to right scoring Horne and moving Gery to third. Morgan Labs then reached on an infield error and Gery scored. A walk by Amanda O'Hara would load the bases for the Rams, but a ground ball to third would end the inning. The Rams shut down the Souderton offense for the final two frames to secure the 3-1 win.
