The Lady Rams are learning early in the season how to come from behind for a victory. The Lady Rams spotted Southern Lehigh a 8-2 lead going into the bottom of the 6th inning. The Rams had gotten their two runs in the 3rd inning when with Alicia Phillips(3 for 5 with 1 RBI) at second, Brooke Labs crushed a 3-2 pitch over the centerfield fence for a two run home run. Trailing 8-2 in the bottom of the 6th inning Brooke Labs lead off with a walk, followed by single by Haley Taylor to centerfield. The centerfielder misplayed the ball and it rolled to the fence, scoring Labs and putting Taylor at 3rd. Emily Hofmann then singled to left center to score Taylor. Keely Spangler and Bridget Casey then each walked to load the bases. Alicia Phillips then singled to right center to score Spangler and Hofmann. Emily Mayhew then singled to right center also to score Casey and Phillips, knotting the score at 8. Emily Mayhew(WP) retired the Southern Lehigh hitters in order to set the stage for the bottom of the 7th. The locals lead off with a double to the centerfield fence by Paige DeCew. Keely Spangler was then hit by a pitch and Natalie Babik worked a walk to load the bases with no outs. Then with one out Alicia Phillips single up the middle to score courtesy runner Sarah Evers for the win. Emily Mayhew was the winning pitcher going 6 innings, scattering 3 hits, 6 Ks, no walks, and no earned runs. Alicia Phillips was 3 for 5 with 3 RBI.
