Norristown Comments
Norristown softball played there best complete game of the season today with a 6-5 come from behind win at PW. Gabbie Berry powered the eagles with 2 hits (2 run HR, triple) along with single hit days from Shari Lynne Kluth, Stephanie Dinolfi, Daisy Foster, Gina Pellechio, & the game winning hit by Sammy Kidd. Taylor Copestick rebounded from a shaky start to catch a great latter part of the game with a big out on a pop up in the bottom of the 7th. Daisy Foster pitched a beautiful complete game 4 hitter striking out 5 and had great command of her pitches. She also helped herself defensively making multiple put outs on the mound, including the last out of the game. Norristown softball will be back in action Wednesday at home against Upper Dublin.

Norristown at Plymouth Whitemarsh
Plymouth Whitemarsh was just one strike away from defeating
Norristown, but Tori Barattuci misplayed a ground ball that could have
ended the game that tied the score at 5-5. Sam Kidd hit the game-wiinig
RBI 1B to put Norristown up 6-5. In the top of the 6th, Gabby Berry
smacked a 2-run homer to center to put Norristown down by 1, 5-2.
Norristown improves to 4-1 in the league. Plymouth Whitemarsh fell to
1-2. This was PW's first home loss since 5/18/2008.
