Molly Moore was exceptional on the mound today, throwing a complete game, striking out 16, and scattering 4 hits & 1 run. It was a pitchers duel for a while with Clee pitching really well for WT.

Regan Gehman and Lauryn Kane led the offense with 2 hits each. Haylie Lindley also hade a HUGE pinch hit triple in the 6th to score 1 and give us a 3-1 cushion before Julie Price grounded out to score Lindley to cap off the scoring.

“I’m really proud of our girls today. Clee pitches really well for Tennent and their lineup has some really good bats. Molly pitched a gem, we made the plays we needed to, and played unselfish softball to manufacturer some runs. Honestly, that’s a game we find a way to lose at the beginning of the season. I’m proud of the way our girls have frowns this season and are really learning how to play quality softball as a unit.”
