Plymouth Whitemarsh Comments
Wissahickon bested PW today by a score of 7-1. Sophomore Nicole Winterbottom pitched 7 full innings for PW. She had 2 strikeouts and two walks, giving up 6 earned runs. Sophomore catcher, Susan Janfrancisco, again, was a standout player for the Colonials. She went 2 for 3 on offense and earned an RBI for the team's only run. Defensively, Janfrancisco was perfect behind the plate throwing out the only Wissahickon runner attempting to steal and allowing no passed balls.
