Liz Parkins struck out 16 en route to the win over Cheltenham. She stymied any hope Cheltenham's offense had allowing only 1 hit and 1 walk during the game. Sarah Derstine went 2 for 4 and got the scoring started in the first. After a stolen base and wild pitch Derstine was brought home on a hard hit ball by Brittany Beebe. Souderton scored again in the second and sixth, with Parkins acting as the catalyst for both scoring opportunities. Moira Golden brought her home in the second on a hard hit ball misplayed by the third basemen and in the sixth Corinne Stiles singled up the middle to score Parkins from second. Up next Souderton faces Hatboro Horsham at home on Tuesday.
