Highlights: On a cold windy day it was pitching and defense that led Souderton to an important conference win past Pennridge. The seniors for Souderton led the way with Liz Parkins throwing a gem, striking out 15 batters and allowing only 2 hits, and Brittany Beebe going 3 for 3 at the plate with 2 rbis. Mollie Burrell got the scoring started in the first doubling in Sarah Derstine with two outs, scoring what proved to be the game winner. Beebe followed with a double to keep the two out rally going. Souderton scored again in the 3rd, 4th and 5th finishing with a total of 7 runs. Parkins would only need one run as she was in complete control the entire game.
