PW bested the undefeated Wissahickon today by a score of 1-0. Senior Erica Miller pitched her final high school game - a 6-hit shut-out, fanning 6 Wissahickon batters. PW put up four hits on the outing, one of which being 1-out single by junior Jordan Katz in the 5th inning. Sophomore Jocelyn Porrino followed with a single to right-center which scored Katz, and that's all PW needed. The Colonial defense was spectacular on the day, leaving 9 Wissahickon runners stranded on the bases.
