The Wiss girls took on the small but strong CB West team at home on Tuesday, and came out with many personal bests and a 102-84 victory. One of the main goals of the meet was to try to qualify the 200y and 400y Freestyle relays for District One Championships. They ended up not only getting the automatic qualifying time for both relays but also qualified individually in several events as well.


Highlights:

200y Free - Karis Kim and Julia Weiss placed 1-2, both in District 1 Consideration Times.

200 IM - Katie Sapozhnikov won in an automatic D1 qualifying time.

50 Free - Maddie Johnson placed first.

Diving - Tess Klugherz won.

500 Free - Katie Sapozhnikov won her second individual event in another automatic D1 qualifying time.

200 Free Relay - Karis Kim led off with a D1 consideration time and Jaclyn Staub; Julia Weiss and Katie Sapozhnikov joined her to earn their D1 automatic qualifying time

100 Back - Jaclyn Staub won

400 Free Relay - Karis Kim once again led off with a D1 consideration time with Maddie Johnson, Julia Weiss and Katie Sapoznikov following her, each with great swims, to get their second relay automatically qualified for District 1 Championships

The next meet will be Thursday at CB South.
