For the fourth straight year Wissahickon wins the Suburban One League American Conference title with 6-1 win over Plymouth Whitemarsh HS. Wissahickon also finishes with it's second undefeated regular season in those four years. The Trojans were led by wins in 2nd singles by Anne Marie Devlin and in the days longest match, a 3rd set win by Danielle Mustin. PW's Cristina Kaiser won the 1st singles in what was the best and hardest fought match, a brutal 3 sets against Wissahickon's Maureen Devlin. The two are now on a collision course in the Suburban One League American Conference Singles Championships beginning tomorrow at Arthur Ashe in Philadelphia. The continuing dominance of the Trojans's doubles teams ensures Wissahickon of a high seeding for the upcoming District 1 Team Championships.
