Upper Dublin Girls Tennis Team Defeated Abington 4-3 on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Upper Dublin.


Upper Dublin defeated friendly rival Abington in a close match on Wednesday. The match was tied until Upper Dublin’s 4th doubles team of Iris Chan and Amber Zhang clinched the match in an exciting third set victory. UD’s first singles player Alyssa Bergman was down 1-5 in her first set, but pulled out a 7-5 win and won the set and match. After dropping their first set, UD’s first doubles team of juniors Nikki Dion and Laynie Dratch came back strong to win in three sets.
