Bensalem defeated Avon Grove 3-1 on Thursday. Basheer Ghafary had a career high 43 assists to lead the Owls. Greg Philip (14 kills), Jay Tilvawala (11 kills) and Shiv Patel (10 kills) had strong games at the net. But it was Paul Leible (13 kills 2 blocks) that provided a huge spark for Bensalem. Owls improve to 7-8 overall.
