Bensalem Comments
Bensalem defeated Abington 3-0 on Tuesday for their 7th straight win. Dev Patel (6 kills 10 digs) and Yosuf Khan (7 kills 1 block) stepped up big in key spots for the Owls. Libero Rohan Patel (3 aces 16 digs) served and defended well for Bensalem. Jack Wineburg (9 kills) had a strong game at the net. Bensalem improves to 7-1 overall (SOL 5-1).
Abington Comments
Isaac Burstyn contributed five kills and three blocks to Abington's offense and was instrumental in keeping these three games competitive. Danyel Mayo also contributed three kills and a block from the middle. Zach Miller again led the kills for Abington with 11 kills (0.428 average) and nine digs. Jack Scharnikow also racked up nine digs, with six kills added. Setters Brendan Dougherty and Max Brahler racked up nineteen and nine assists, respectively, and Libero Nikolay Grinyuk had eleven digs on the night.
