Bensalem lost its first game of the season to CB South 3-1 (22-25, 14-25, 25-16, 23-25) on Monday. The Owls were led by Basheer Ghafary's 28 assists and 3 kills. The Owls had a balanced attack on offense, led by Paul Leible (10 kills 1 block), Shiv Patel (8 kills), Jake Mottershead (7 kills 2 aces), and Kyle McViccar (5 kills). Bensalem plays at Neshaminy tomorrow.
Central Bucks South Comments
Today CB South travelled to Bensalem and won the match in 4 sets. (25-22, 25-14, 16-25 & 25-23). It was a competitive match with both teams giving their all and a fun match to be a part of. Mason Zeo led the team in aces with 3 and also added 6 kills and 6 digs. Jonathan Zonshein had 5 kills, 2 blocks, 8 digs and an ace. Aidan O'Brien led offensively with 8 kills, 2 blocks, 3 digs and 2 aces and setter Andrew Rubas spread the ball around to all the hitters and finished with 18 assists, 3 kills 3 blocks and led defensively with 12 digs.
