Tonight we hosted CB East and lost in 5 sets (25-20, 16-25, 12-25, 25-18 and 9-15). We came out in set 1 and played very well. Unfortunately right at the end of the set we lost senior Sam Stolber with a foot injury. We struggled a bit after that before finding the right lineup and getting back into the match in set 4. I was extremely proud of the way the team handled themselves and continued to work through some adversity early in the match. We'll be hoping for a quick recovery for Sam. Setter Josh Conley distributed the ball and had 14 assists, while adding a kill and 7 digs. Senior Chris Kline led the offense with 6 kills and had 4 aces and 2 blocks. Sophomore Libero Will Tantum led the defense with 8 digs. Senior Dylan Hillegass in his first varsity start recorded 3 kills, 2 blocks and 6 digs.
