With the season at the halfway point CB South And CB West squared off for a second time this season. It was a see saw, 5 set battle with the Bucks winning the first set convincingly 25-16. South rallied back to win set number two 25-14. In a true Central Bucks showdown the two teams battled for each set. CB West won the third 25-22, South the fourth 25-17. It came down to set number 5. CB South prevailed 15-9 but it was a hard fought match for both teams. "They really put us to the test tonight" said Coach Schlosser. "Will Tantum was the glue that held us together. He really did his job. We could not have won without him." Will passed almost 30 serves, had 16 digs, 6 assists and 3 aces.
Ben Grove kept his kill streak going with a 23 kill night. He also added 6 digs, 3 blocks and 5 aces. Will Nothum had another solid night with 13 kills, 4 blocks, 4 digs and 2 aces. Josh Conley dished out 32 assists 15 digs and 3 kills in the contest. Sophomore Jake Sciscio had another good showing giving the Titans a much needed boost with 5 kills, 9 digs and a block. "He's really been improving, contributing more each match. The other real difference maker for us has been Zeke Gift. He flies under the radar but he does all the little things you need done on the court. He's always positive and plays his heart out." Zeke added 11 digs, an ace and was instrumental on serve receive.
The Titans improve to 5-3 in league play, 5-4 overall. They play Upper Dublin at home Thursday night.
