LaSalle College HS Comments
LaSalle CHS brought out a strong team today with a consistent serve and scrappy defense. Their outside hitter led their offense and we had difficulty converting when they got swings in. Props to a great team effort and good luck with the remainder of their season.
Abington Comments
Abington struggled to get a rhythm going and transition from defense to offense today. We struggled on serve receive, and as a result couldn't run the full extent of our offense.
Zach Miller again led our offense with a 0.314 hitting average, and a whopping 18 kills. Jack Scharnikow defended well and shut down the right side with two big blocks, and contributed another 4 kills from the outside. Setter Brendan Dougherty racked up the assists today, putting up 27 assists for the offense. Thomas O'Malley contributed 6 digs on defense, and Garrett Mulvihill added 5 more. Sophomore middle hitter Danyel Mayo provided 4 kills.
