Bensalem Comments
Bensalem defeated Neshaminy 3-2 on Thursday for their 8th straight win.
“This was a total team effort today. I am very proud of my guys for bouncing back after dropping the 3rd set. We had a decent lead in set 3 and let it slip away. But these guys stayed mentally tough and rallied to win the next 2.”
The Owls were led by Dev Patel’s 11 kills, 8 digs, and the match winning block. Veer Patel (34 assists, 15 digs) ran a balanced offense to Jack Wineburg (7 kills), Jahaan Patel (6 kills 12 digs 4 blocks), Bruce Bell (6 kills 1 ace), and Yosuf Khan (3 kills 3 blocks). Rohan Patel had 21 digs to lead the defense and Luv Patel (7 digs 3 aces) had a massive dig on the final point of the match. Bensalem improves to 8-1 (6-1 SOL).
