Upper Dublin hosted CB East in boys volleyball. Upper Dublin won the match in 4 sets (21-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-23). In the first game, we came out a little flat and trailed for most of the game. After the first game we felt that we were the ones making the mistakes that caused us to lose that game. In the second game we came out with a new intensity and were able to serve for points which kept us in the lead most of the game. Our service game led to more free balls which we transitioned into points. Game 3 went much the same way and we controlled the set for the majority of game. In game 4 CB East regained some of the momentum and the match was close the entire way with us holding on to a two point advantage to win the match. This match was possibly the best we've played all year and we played well in all aspects of the game and were able to keep our focus and finish.

Stats:

Serving - Jordan Walden led the serving with 16 points and 9 aces. Dave An also contributed with 10 points and 2 aces

Setting - Dave An set the entire match and recorded 45 assists while spreading the ball between outsides, middles, opposites and backrow attackers.

Hitting - Dror Bareket led the attack with 16 kills and Jordan Walden had 15 kills. All of our players hit well and forced free balls back to us or errors which led to points.

Blocking - Curtis Carter and Jino Park each had 5 blocks

Digs - Jordan Walden and Jino Park led the team with 11 digs each. Brian Shim also contributed with 9 digs and several other players made key digs to keep rallies alive.
