Bensalem Comments
Bensalem lost a hard fought match 3-2 on Thursday to Neshaminy. After dropping the first two sets, Bensalem rallied to win the next two and force a fifth set. Sophomore Emma LoStracco had an excellent game in her first ever varsity start, recording 17 assists, 6 aces and 1 kill. Maddie Buechner (7 kills 1 block) and Sydney Bawuah (7 kills) led a balanced attack for the Owls. Meg Klaiss had 7 aces for Bensalem. Middles Sara Streng (3 kills) and Zariah Prescott (4 kills 2 block) also had strong games. The Owls fell to 0-3 on the season.
