The Lady Patriots rebounded from a tough loss to Council Rock North the night before with a solid three set win over the visiting Bensalem Owls. Everyone who touched the court contributed to the win, starting with the defensive law firm of Haridas (11 digs, 2 assists), Zmuda (13 digs, 1 assist) and O'Brien (8 digs, 5 service aces). The two senior setters of Mia Mettille (19 assists, 6 kills, 4 service aces and 3 digs) and Jillian Walworth (5 assists, 2 service aces and 1 dig) did a great job of feeding the front line with opportunities to get kills, and Sophia Schwartz (8 kills, 3 digs and 3 blocks), Ali Minacci (8 kills and 2 blocks), Regina Mathur (5 kills, 5 digs and 1 service ace), and Reese Coxey (3 kills, 1 block and 1 dig) took advantage of those sets. However, the star of the night was senior Ava Barnum, who made her first start of the season and contributed four timely kills when the team needed a spark.
