CR SOUTH advanced to 6-0 in conference play and 8-2 overall. South played the strongest defensive game of the season with standout defense by setters Emelie Korn and Olivia DeSaro, and DS Chloe Brossman and Libero Halle Wilson. Against some big hitters and strong servers from CR North. CR South proves again that they don’t give up when they are down and steadily battled back with even, consistent, unratttled play. They battled back from a 15-9 deficit to tie it up at 15-15 in set 3. Impressive, smart offense put together by Pin hitters Nala Kauer, Emelie Korn and Olivia DeSaro and middle Kristina Shumakov. South takes on William Tennent on Thursday and a non league match up against StrathHaven on Friday.
