Council Rock North defeated Neshaminy Thursday by the score of 3-2 (25-12, 22-25, 19-25. 25-14, 15-12). This match was CRN's Senior Night

Oops. We did it again. In jest I suggested we just play 1 set to 99 during the coin flip. We all chuckled, but it sure looks like the script was written that way. I can literally take the last write up, change some numbers, and it would fit.

Senior Lucy Killian had a perfect 10 for 10 serving night and made some very nice defensive plays. Senior Ella Mancinelli had some good swings and was setting a great block. Senior Rylie Desruiseau played her typical strong defensive/serve receive game. Senior middle Madison Campbell did all the things a middle does, get to the block and be available to hit. Senior Addison Zarillo was once again one of the leaders for our team with 9 kills and several big blocks. Senior Sarah McCafferty had a new season high of 50 assists and provided some solid serving and leadership.

In the first set, we served well and put up 5 aces while our attackers found the floor. In the second and third sets, Neshaminy's defense refused to let the ball hit the floor and held a 2-1 lead. In the 4th and 5th sets, our attackers made some adjustments and started to find the floor which lead to our hard fought 3-2 win.

Council Rock North Juniors Olivia Szymkiewicz (22 kills and 4 Aces) and Sloane Jordan (16 kills 3 aces) provided the fire power from the pins.
