In a tough district 1 match up CR South bested Haverford in a 5 set battle. South overcame significant deficits, being down 9-2 in set 5 to come back and win 15-13. South relied on grit and teamwork to finish the set with a win. They have proven time and again that they do not give up. Standout defensive play by senior Libero Halle Wilson, and sophomore Soliel Kauer. Sophomore Emelie Korn lent 15 assists and 3 kills, 7 digs and 2 blocks. Junior Olivia DeSaro had 12 assists, 14 kills, 9 digs and 1 block. Senior Nala Kauer contributed 14 kills. The team was flexible in adjusting their defense to strong pin hitters and relentless in their ability to fight back. Senior night is tomorrow night against neighboring Villa Joseph Marie at 6:00PM.
