Central Bucks West upset seventh-seeded Plymouth Whitemarsh, 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-22), at Colonial Elementary School in Plymouth Meeting. PW, which had a first-round bye, lost a home match for the first time since September 21, 2015 (3-0 by Upper Dublin), snapping a 28-match home win streak. The 10th-seeded Bucks (19-5) will visit number two Upper Merion in the district quarterfinals.
CB West defeated 23 CB South, 3-1, in the opening round on Oct. 24. PW (20-3) had been the District 1 AAAA runner-up and a state quarterfinalist in 2016.
