PW started off the season with a strong performance. Set scores of 25-21, 25-10, 25-13 against the PIAA D1 A 2023 Champions. Junior Marissa Storti led the team with 4 Aces and 4 Kills. Senior Amanda Busk had a nice match with 6 kills and 4 block assists. Junior, Giuliana Storti led the defense with 15 digs. And the team enjoyed the sophomore duo of Ryleigh Gunn and Eliza Meersman where Ryleigh had 4 kills and 5 blocks and Eliza had 3 kills and 4 blocks. Finally sophomore Brooke Peduzzi led the setters with 8 assists. PW will play Council Rock North next Tuesday in another non-conference match.
