The Lady Patriots clearly are trying to squeeze every ounce out of this young season, taking a third straight match to five sets. This time, however, the Lady Patriots prevailed against a tough Souderton squad (25-18, 24-26, 25-16, 12-25, 15-13). Ali Minacci delivered an outstanding overall performance at the net, registering 12 kills and 10 blocks, along with 4 service aces. Sophia Schwartz (8 kills and 12 digs) and Regina Mathur (6 kills, 21 digs and 1 service ace) both turned in strong all-around performances. On the defensive side, Arya Haridas (43 digs, 4 assists and 3 service aces) had a monster night on the back line, along with Carmyn O'Brien (9 digs, 7 assists and 1 service ace). Sharing primary setting duties were Brynne Vonder Schmalz (12 assists, an incredible 9 service aces and 8 digs) and Jillian Walworth (8 assists). Several other players made critical contributions throughout the match, including Summer Darling (3 kills, 3 digs and 1 block), Mia Rivera (2 digs and 1 kill), Reese Coxey (3 kills, 1 dig and 1 block) and Kayla Muzsi (4 digs).
