William Tennent outlasted a very tough and scrappy St Huberts team tonight 3-1. 25-16, 22-25, 25-19, 25-21. We got great contributions up and down the line-up. Serving is a real strength for us but we just didn’t have it tonight as a team in that area. But our back row led by Addy Criss and Maggie McGlynn really stepped up in a really tough gym to play in. The ceiling was low and balls were bouncing all over. Our setters Izzy Goebel and Julia Richard did a great job spreading the ball around and saving some plays out of the rafters. Meredith Johnston and Georgie Thorpe led the way up front, each tallying 7 kills.
