Wissahickon Boys Water Polo defeat LaSalle in a tight battle on Tuesday night September 18, 2012.

Wow, what a great night for the Wissahickon Trojan Boys water polo team with a 7-6 WIN over LaSalle High School in a packed Wissahickon natatorium. After LaSalle took an early lead, Wissahickon fought back hard through a solid team effort. Wissahickon goals were scored by Billy McFarland, Brad Jones, Luke Waechter, Luke Tarzia, and Eun Bae. Greg Beyer added a couple of awesome steals and Mac Hennessey had a great game in goal, stopping lots of LaSalle shots. Both teams played great defense. By the end of the third period, the game was tied. After a back and forth final period, the Trojans scored the final goal and came out on top. The Wissahickon "Fan" club provided fantastic cheering in support of the Trojans.

LaSalle won the JV game 12-10 despite a great team effort by the Trojan boys.
