The Wissahickon Trojans played great defense in their home opener, however offensive struggles proved to be too costly in a loss to Penn Charter on Wednesday. Senior Goalie Caitlin Valentine stopped 12 shots on 19 attempts. Sophomore Maggie Kreiger lead the charge on offense with two goals, Chloe Lovensheimer, Becca Valentine, Sophia Tsiobikas and Jaclyn Staub each scored one. Anna Alberti contributed 3 assists and 2 steals and Emma Benning added 3 steals. The Trojans are back in action Saturday in the Wissahickon Tournament.
