Abington 17, Pennsbury 5
The Ghosts notched win number 12 in a row Monday night, opening up a 4-0 lead after one quarter and taking a 6-2 lead into halftime. They blew the game open in the second half, outscoring their visitors 11-3.
Senior attackmen Cameron Leech (three goals, five assists) and Hunter Jones (six goals, two assists) and senior midfielder Joey Lomady (four goals, four assists) all had a hand in eight goals to lead the Ghosts. Senior John Wink added a hat trick while senior Russell Nocito had a single goal.
Freshman Connor Reed turned away nine shots in goal for the Ghosts. Leading the Ghosts defensively were senior Brian Nolan, Ryan Fetzer and Tyler Dermer.
For the Falcons, Zach Abraham had two goals and one assist, Matt Anderson added a pair of goals, and Jared Petty had one goal.

The Colonials gave new meaning to the phrase balanced scoring as 12 players contributed goals in Monday’s American Conference win. Brandon Corcoran’s six-point night led the way as he contributed two goals and four assists. Chris Galante and Alex Savarese both had a hat trick while Riley White had two goals and one assist. Jake Kelly had a pair of goals, and Pat McGrath, Liam Golden and Zach Zygmunt each contributed one goal and one assist. Contributing single goals were Brad Kahny, Alex Decarlo, Austin Betterly and Mike Ianarelli.
Thomas Hipwell scored the Panthers’ lone goal while Antonio Ringgold had an assist.
The Colonials, who led 6-0 after one quarter, took an 8-1 lead into halftime.
Cheltenham goalie David Friedman was credited with 19 saves in a solid outing.

The Hatters celebrated Senior Night with a great team win. Pierre Armstrong had a big night, leading the Hatters' attack with six goals and one assist. Owen Winters added three goals and one assist, and Logan Eldridge had two goals and one assist. Conor McPoyle scored two goals while Bryan Remailey and Tony Zollo both had one goal and one assist. Chris Hammel contributed one goal to round out the scoring for the Hatters, who broke a 2-2 tie with four goals in the second quarter to go into halftime with a 6-4 lead. They outscored the visiting Rams 5-2 in the third quarter and 10-5 in the second half to earn the big win.

Central Bucks East visited Central Bucks West Monday evening at War Memorial Stadium and came away with a victory in the crosstown rivalry game. With the win, the Patriots improved their record to 15-1.
West opened the scoring with a quick goal at the 10:07 mark of the first quarter. The Patriots quickly responded with four unanswered goals to take a commanding 4-1 lead at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was even with each team scoring one goal, and the score at the midway mark was 5-2 in favor of the Patriots.
The Bucks came out in the third quarter and scored two goals while East scored only one. However, the fourth quarter was all East as the Patriots outscored West 4-2 to go on to win by a score of 10-6.
The Patriots were led in scoring by Matt Vetter and Ryan Brown, who each scored three goals. Vetter also added an assist, Owen Griffin had two goals and one assist, while David Gresscott and Mike Ott each chipped in with one goal. Jack Auteri had a pair of assists, and Matt Brown and Alec Bracken each had one.
For the Bucks, Clark Hawes led the way with two goals and one assist. Will Ross added a pair of goals, and Joey Rockovich and Brandon Gervais both had one goal. Morgan Kratzke had a pair of assists.
East's face-off tandem of Auteri and Ott combined to win 15-of-20. Sean McGovern was strong in the cage with seven saves for the Patriots.
Mike Eveland and Dustin Buchanan led East with two caused turnovers apiece. Matt Brown, Ott, Nick Yerkes, Bryan McIntosh and Kevin D’Andrea each had one.
Ground balls were a huge factor for East as Matt Brown and Buchanan had seven apiece, while Eveland had three, Griffin and Grant Porter had two each, and Matt Krumenacker and Logan Nelson both were credited with one.
West goalie Steve Hogan turned away 13 of 21 shots he faced in a strong outing. The Patriots held a 29-15 advantage in shots.
CB East plays their final Suburban One League game of the season on Wednesday when the Patriots host Souderton.

Richick and Henze Stand Out for Central Bucks South in Loss to Downingtown East
Downingtown, PA: In non-league action, Downingtown East jumped out to a 2-0 first quarter lead over CB South and took a 4-2 lead into halftime. The Titans rallied to tie it at 4-4 in the third and again at 6-6 in the fourth quarter, but the Cougars won it by a score of 7-6 on a fastbreak goal with 5:51 left in the game.
Jake Henze scored three goals for the Titans and Robbie Richick (15 saves) was outstanding in the goal. Brendan McGrath added one goal and three assists and Chris Tanner had one goal and one assist. Dillon Kelly (one goal) and Evan Falkowski (one assist) also contributed to the attack for CB South, which dropped to 12-3 on the season.
Downingtown East was sparked by the 19-save effort of Brody Wilson in goal.

Michael Sowers scored two goals and also contributed two assists while Michael Mullen had three goals and one assist to lead a balanced Flying Cardinal attack in Saturday’s non-league win. Evan Scott, Paul Chung and Ben Abel each added one goal.
The Flying Cardinals led 4-2 after one quarter and took a 5-2 lead into halftime. It was a 7-5 game after three quarter.
Chung won 12-of-18 face-offs.
Goalie Bobby McPeak was credited with 10 saves in the win.

Upper Moreland 10, Springfield-Montco 7
The Golden Bears celebrated Senior Night with an impressive win, opening up a 7-3 halftime lead and never looking back.
Sydney Bachmayer and Allison Felicetti both contributed a hat trick while Delaney Smith added a pair of goals. Senior defender Melissa Felicetti and senior attacker Samara Santry each scored one goal.
“Mel Wittick played well on defense, and Veronica Baez made connections in the midfield,” coach Pam Remmey said. “Kate Taylor played well in goal, making four saves in the first half to maintain the Bears’ lead.”
For the Spartans, Marley Berger, Ellie Hamilton, Lindsey Smith and Caroline Pape each had two goals. Hamilton also had an assist, and Smith had four draw controls. Emily Giampietro led the defense with four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Zoe Edalatpour had two ground balls.
Goalie Aly Evans had four saves.

The Ghosts kept their perfect conference record intact, setting the stage for Wednesday night’s showdown against a Wissahickon squad that is also undefeated in conference play.
Senior Jeannie Van Buren had a big game, contributing five goals and four draw controls. Mikki Raymond had two goals, two assists and three draw controls. Casey Mccallister had a pair of goals while Ali Maher, Emma Garg, Jules Greco, Katherine Gerhard, Kristen Sparhawk and Issy Mugnier each added one goal.
Greco led the defense with six ground balls while Maddie Sjoholm had three ground galls.
Goalie Micaela Murcar was credited with 12 saves.
North Penn 19, Council Rock South 6
The Maidens sprinted to an 11-3 lead on their way to the big win. Sydney Lear had three goals and three assists while Emily Schulze and Kaitlyn Phifer both had three goals and one assist. Chloe Novak (two goals, one assist), Lauren Moore (two goals), Jenn Delongis (two goals), Julie Kefer (one goal, two assists) and Makayla Bowman (one goal, one assist) also had a hand in multiple goals. Contributing one goal were Bri O’Donnell and Kylie Winton. Mikayla Barrow had one assist.
“It was a nice all-around effort by our team,” coach Heather Mellow said.
For the Golden Hawks, Nikki Boyd had four goals, and Caroline McGovern added a pair.
Maiden goalie Michelle Dyck had 10 saves in a winning effort while Rock South goalie Kim Starke turned away five shots.

Wissahickon 14, Hatboro-Horsham 12
The Trojans edged the Hatters in a classic American Conference battle, setting the stage for showdown against Abington to determine the conference crown. Wissahickon and Abington are both undefeated in conference play.
Neither team scored until the 16:42 mark of the opening half when the Trojans connected. They went on to score four goals in three minutes before Carly Daley put the Hatters on the board at the 10:52 mark. The Trojans answered with a pair of goals to go on top 6-1. A free position goal by Daley ignited a scoring spree that saw the Hatters scored five goals in a span of two minutes.
Casey Swezey scored the first two goals of the run with Swezey, according to coach Duncan Swezy, coming up with some huge self draws to lead the comeback. Goals by Daley, Gwyn Acker and Syd Rausa sent the Hatters into halftime with a 7-6 lead.
The Trojans scored the first goal of the second half to knot the score, and the two teams spent the remainder of the half exchanging goals until the Trojans took a late lead they would not lose.
Daley and Swezey led the Hatters with four goals each. Swezey also had seven draw controls. Rausa had one goal, two assists and four caused turnovers. Kaitlyn Wallace had a pair of goals, and Gwyn Acker added a single goal.
Hatter goalie Maria Sims was credited with four saves.

Central Bucks East 16, Pennridge 12
The suddenly streaking Patriots opened up a 7-4 halftime lead and never looked back on the way to their fourth straight win.
“The key today was the girls were moving on and off the ball nicely,” coach Kelly White said. “In the second half, our defense came alive with Taylor Sequine, Sara Donnelly, Steph Ott and Julia Adams.
“Our attack has been doing a great job working for and with each other. It was just a great team effort against a very well coached and talented Pennridge team.”
Freshmen Riley Donnelly (four goals, one assist) and Bella Ridolfi (four goals) led a balanced East attack. Maggie Vetter added two goals and three assists while Kaitlyn Mikalic had one goal and three assists. Katelyn Stout and Betty Wesney each added a pair.
For the Lady Rams, Jen Rodzewich had three goals, one assist and one draw, and Devan Rimmer had two goals and three draws. Maddie Dachowski had two goals, two assists and one draw, and Aimee Beck had a pair of goals. Grace Loughery added one goal, one assist and three draws. Emily Price and Kate Ziegler both had one goal.
“We started off the game flat and got ourselves into a hole,” said coach Karen Schnurr, whose team is on the bubble in the hunt for a district playoff berth. “We have been working all season not to be just a second half team. The team fought till the end but couldn't pull off a win. This team is very passionate and determined to succeed. I am proud that they fought the entire way and didn't give up.
“East has an extremely good goalie and we could not get around her today. East look charge of the game and we could never win it back. This one hurt.”
Senior Alana Rivas was credited with nine saves in goal.
“Alana had another stellar game in goal,” White said. “She plays with such energy and really comes up with the big saves.”

Central Bucks South 7, Gwynedd Mercy 4
Sarah Poli had two goals and one assist while Kasey Dietzel added a pair of goals to lead the Titans to the important non-league win. Kristen Berntsen had one goal and one assist. Tori Wigand and Kelly Senour both had one goal. Courtney Dietzel contributed a pair of assists.
South goalie Erin Putnam turned away seven shots in a winning effort.
Upper Dublin 11, Plymouth Whitemarsh 10
The visiting Colonials took a 6-4 lead into halftime only to watch the Flying Cardinals respond with a 7-4 second half tear to earn the win.
“Julie Cross was the key – we couldn’t stop her,” PW coach Ellen Reilly said. “When we got the draw, we did well. When she controlled it, it was hard to stop her.
“My team played well at times, creating positive turnovers, and then we would end up throwing it away on transition.”
Cross led all scorers with six goals, and she also had 10 draw controls. Hannah Reape added four goals and Carole Wall, one goal. Jess Grodsky had one assist.
For the Colonials, Sophie Kolkka had a hat trick while Kirsten Monte and Ali Diamond both had two goals and two assists. Maddie Berman had two goals, and Rita Trainer added a single goal.
UD goalie Sarah Gallagher was credited with 10 saves in a winning effort.

Anna Lehman scored four goals while Devon Mela had three goals and an assist to lead the Indians to Saturday’s non-league win. Claire Jarema and Megan Haggerty both had a pair of goals while Aubrey Deon had a goal and assist. Emma Kwasnoski scored one goal.
Margaret D’Auria turned away nine of 17 shots she faced in goal for the Indians.
