CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 4, COATESVILLE 0
The Titans exploded for three second-half goals to seize control of their non-league game at Coatesville.
“We were actually going into the wind in the second half,” coach Don Brady said. “The only thing that I can tell you (that changed) is that, in the first half, a lot of balls rolled off the goal line and just kind of ended the chances for us. Certainly in the second half, we fared a lot better.”
A goal by Connor Bethel sent the Titans into halftime with a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Colin Green scored back-to-back goals – both with assists from Colin Fagan – to give the Titans a 3-0 lead. Dom Monchek added a single goal.
Brady credited the strong performances of all of his goal scorers and also gave props to his goalies – Matt and Billy Gorman – for combining to post their third shutout of the season, their second in as many days.
With the win, the Titans improved to 6-2 overall (4-2 SOL).

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, COUGHLIN 2
The Patriots scored three goals in the opening 18 minutes of Saturday’s non-league game. Coughlin answered with two of its own late in the opening half, and that would be the extent of the scoring for both teams as the Patriots handed Coughlin (7-1-1) its first defeat of the season.
Evan Vare led the Patriots’ attack with two goals and an assist. Alex Parasky added a single goal, and Ian Lutz contributed an assist.
“I think we went up 3-0, and it seemed to be a little too easy, and we got a little complacent,” coach Mike Gorni said. “They worked real hard and got two on us.
“In the second half, Evan (Vare) hit the post once, and we had the better of it, but nobody scored. For 20 minutes, we played real well. The rest of the game we were pretty average.”
With the win, the Patriots – who were without starting goalie Austin Prime – improved to 9-0-0 on the season.
