QUAKERTOWN 51, FREEDOM 46
Griffin Schmidt turned in a glittering 27-point effort and JR Grimmage added 17 to lead the Panthers to the non-league win.
Freedom led 17-15 after one quarter, but the Panthers went on a 20-10 second quarter run to go into halftime with a 35-27 lead. Freedom outscored the Panthers 19-16 in the second half, but it wasn’t enough.
Quakertown (2-5, 0-3 SOL) will host Hatboro-Horsham on Tuesday night.

DOWNINGTOWN WEST 60, HATBORO-HORSHAM 48
The Hatters – still without Brian McEachern and Luke Gelhaus because of injuries – were on the short end of a 15-11 score after one quarter and trailed 29-21 at halftime. The Hatters hung tough but never could get over the hump.
Clifton Moore led the Hatters with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Jay Davis added 12 points, and Joe Russell, 11 points. Kyle Katz had six points.
The Whippets – with four players 6-5 and taller – were led by 6-8 senior Josh Warren (24 points) and 6-5 Ryan Betley (15 points). Dom Guerrera, listed at 6-6, had 13 points, and 6-7 George Gordon had six points.
Hatboro-Horsham (4-3, 3-0 SOL) will be on the road at Quakertown on Tuesday.

The Indians struggled to find their offense. They scored just 11 points in the first half and found themselves on the short end of a 27-11 halftime score. The Rams added to their lead in the second half, outscoring their visitors 26-20 in the second half.
Tyler Nowmos led the Indians with 14 points and Will Desautelle had eight points.
Council Rock North (3-3, 1-2 SOL) will travel to Neshaminy on Tuesday night.

Ryan Cuthbert turned in a monster 27-point effort – which included six three-pointers – to lead the Rams. Dan Long also had a big night with 23 points, and Stephen Lowry also finished in double figures with 13 points, but it wasn’t enough.
The Rams led 16-14 at the end of one quarter but found themselves staring at a 37-36 advantage in halftime. The Green Hornets outscored the Rams 23-15 in the third quarter to go on top 60-51 on their way to the non-league win.
The Green Hornets’ Dave Kacelries scored 31 points to lead all scorers.
Pennridge (5-2, 2-1 SOL) will host Souderton on Tuesday night.

The Explorers rebounded from a 16-13 deficit at the end of one quarter to go into halftime on top 30-29 and then blew the non-league game wide open in the second half, outscoring the visiting Knights 40-25.
JJ Melchior, Matt Pickford and Noah Kwortnik led the Knights with 11 points each.
North Penn (3-4, 1-2 SOL) will host Central Bucks West on Tuesday night.

PENNRIDGE 63, HARRY S TRUMAN 52
The Lady Rams took a 14-11 lead after one quarter and went into halftime with a 26-22 advantage. A 20-13 third quarter surge by the Lady Rams all but sealed the visiting Tigers’ fate.
Devan Rimmer had a big game for the Lady Rams, finishing with 20 points and four steals. Lydia Konstanzer collected a double-double, scoring 15 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. She also had a pair of blocked shots. Gillian Anderson added nine points and seven rebounds – six on the offensive end. Claire Podraza had eight points and seven rebounds.
Pennridge (4-3, 0-3 SOL) will be on the road at Souderton on Tuesday night while Truman (2-5, 0-3) will host Pennsbury on Tuesday.

Kennett took a tenuous 27-26 lead into halftime and then outscored the Colonials 9-4 in the third quarter. The Blue Demons sealed the Colonials’ fate with some clutch foul shooting down the stretch.
Taylor O’Brien led the Colonials with 14 points while Laurel Suchsland and Lauren Coscia each had six points.
Plymouth Whitemarsh (4-2, 3-0 SOL) will host Upper Dublin in an American Conference battle on Tuesday.

The visiting Pioneers opened up a 17-10 lead after one quarter and went on to outscore the Spartans in each of the four quarters to earn the non-league win.
Molly Dugan and Grace Barraclough led the Spartans with 19 points each. Maura Ryan added seven in a contest that saw just three Springfield players contribute scoring.

Kate Mix and Abby Wick led the Falcons with 11 points each while Sydney Buell added 10 points.

The undefeated Lions led by just one after one quarter but took a 19-13 lead into halftime and then outscored the Panthers 12-5 in the third quarter to go on top 31-18 on their way to the non-league win.
Sarah Richie (eight points) and Kelly Scipione (six points) led the Panthers.
