CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 7, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 6 (2 OT)
Will Ross brought a dramatic end to Wednesday’s showdown between the neighboring rivals when he scored with 1:48 remaining in the second overtime. It was the first goal by either team since the third quarter when the Bucks erased a 4-3 East halftime lead with three goals to knot the score 6-6.
It was the only goal of the game for the dangerous Ross. Joey Rockovich and Brandon Gervais both scored a pair of goals to lead West. Dawson Gable and Ben Sexauer each added a single goal. Jake Greenberg dished off a pair of assists, and Shane Early had a single assist.
For the Patriots, Grant Porter, Ryan Brown, Ryan Stout, Ryan Schmidt, Logan Nelson and Owen Griffin each scored one goal. Brown, Nelson and Michael Ott all had one assist.
Nelson led the Patriots with four ground balls while Joe Thiroway and Ryan Schmidt each had three. Griffin, Porter, Bryan McIntosh and Conor Larkin all had two. Contributing one ground ball each were Stout, Brown, Colin Stein, Austin Prime, Cal Tihansky and Drew Bethke. McIntosh had three forced turnovers, Nelson had two while Brown and Prime had one each.
East’s Michael Ott won 11-of-14 face-offs.
West goalie Steve Hogan helped anchor a standout defensive effort with 12 saves. East’s Ian Mauer was credited with nine saves.
Central Bucks West (7-2, 3-1 SOL) West will be on the road at Central Bucks South on Friday (7 p.m.). Central Bucks East (4-3, 3-1) will host Souderton on Friday. After Wednesday’s action, East, West and Hatboro-Horsham all boast identical 3-1 records in conference play.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 10, PENNRIDGE 9
The Hatters needed a goal in the closing seconds to escape with the dramatic win. Owen Winters and Pierre Armstrong led the Hatters with four goals each.
For the Rams, Sean Fechter led the way with three goals while Ryan Garner had two goals and one assist. Chris Warner and Bobby Maher both had one goal and one assist, and Nick Fanelli and Kyle Fanelli each added one goal.
The two teams were deadlocked 5-5 at halftime and it was a 7-7 game heading into the final quarter.
Hatboro-Horsham (3-3, 3-1 SOL) will be on the road at North Penn on Friday, and Pennridge (4-3, 2-3) will host Saucon Valley in a non-league contest Friday.

NORTH PENN 12, SOUDERTON 2
The Knights raced to a 9-0 halftime lead and took a 12-0 lead into the final quarter. Nick Keim led a balanced attack with five goals and one assist while Luke Homan added a hat trick and one assist. Nic Conroy contributed two goals and two assists, and Reece Udinski had one goal and one assist. Steve Rinck added one goal while Eric Diamond had a pair of assists and Matt Dickson chipped in an assist.
Matt Rinck was credited with 13 saves in goal in a winning effort.
North Penn (4-1, 2-1 SOL) will host Hatboro-Horsham on Friday in an important conference game. Souderton (2-6, 0-5) will be on the road at Central Bucks East on Friday.

UPPER MERION 7, SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 3
Connor Stutzman contributed a pair of goals and assists to lead a balanced Viking offense. Yaseen Alarbi added a pair of goals while Nick Freda, Collin Ginsburg and Josh Reinhardt each added a single goal.
Johnny Salamy recorded 13 saves in goal for the Vikings in a winning effort.
Upper Merion (2-5, 2-3 SOL) will travel to Cheltenham on Tuesday while Springfield (1-5, 0-4) will be on the road at Wissahickon on Tuesday.
PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 21, CHELTENHAM 2
Alex Savarese (five goals, four assists) and Brendan Sullivan (five goals, three assists) both had big nights to lead PW’s attack. Also contributing were Vincent Martina (three goals, two assists), Colin Kissane (one goal, two assists), Austin Betterly (two goals, one assist), Christian Jones (two goals), Sean Sehn (one goal, two assists), James Han (one goal, one assist) and Mike Iannarelli (one goal).
For the Panthers, Tim McHugh had a pair of goals, and Daniel Lee had one assist. Goalie Harvey Miller had three saves.
The Colonials raced to a 9-0 lead after one quarter and took a 16-1 lead into halftime on their way to the decisive win.
Plymouth Whitemarsh (4-2, 4-1 SOL) will be on the road at Norristown on Friday, and Cheltenham (0-6, 0-4) will host Wissahickon on Friday.

UPPER DUBLIN 17, WISSAHICKON 1
The Flying Cardinals continue to dominate conference play, opening up a 5-0 lead after one quarter and taking a 10-0 lead into halftime on their way to the big win.
Michael Sowers, Michael Mullen and Nick Vernacchio each had four goals. Sowers also had four assists. Max Winebrake added one goal and two assists, and Jack Rapine had one goal and two assists. Evan Scott had one goal and one assist while Jerry Bardol and Jed Hanson each added single goals. Ben Abel had one assist to close out the scoring.
Rapine also had 12 ground balls in another strong outing, and Conor Wall had five. Isaiah Henrich had two caused turnovers.
Rapine won 12-of-14 face-offs, and Nick Sowers won 3-for-4. Goalie Dillon Lojeski was credited with seven saves.
Upper Dublin (7-0, 6-0 SOL) will be on the road at Norristown on Tuesday, and Wissahickon (5-3, 4-2) will travel to Cheltenham on Friday.
