CHELTENHAM 10, NORRISTOWN 0 (5 innings)
After managing just six runs in their first six contests, the Panthers exploded for 10 runs in four innings, bringing an early end to Friday’s conference game against the visiting Eagles.
While his teammates were busy pounding out hits, Kieran Versaw-Barnes was silencing the Eagles’ bats with an impressive performance on the mound, allowing just two hits in five shutout innings while fanning seven and walking just one.
Versaw-Barnes also made his presence felt at the plate, finishing 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored. Wes Giles delivered the game’s big blow – a three-run home run. Joel White was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and one run scored. Alex Haasz was 2-for-3 with one RBI. Nissim Lebovitz was 1-for-3 with two RBIs while Josh Ryan was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Jawan West was 1-for-1 with two runs scored.
Tyler Pastella had both of Norristown’s hits.
Cheltenham (1-6, 1-5 SOL) will be on the road at Harry S Truman for a non-league contest on Monday. Norristown (3-6, 2-5) will host Upper Dublin on Tuesday.

PENNRIDGE 3, UPPER MORELAND 2 (8 innings)
The Rams won in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the eighth when Chase Bifalico blasted a triple and circled the bases, thanks to an error on the play. The win came 24 hours after the Rams defeated Quakertown in eight innings.
The Golden Bears took a 2-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning, but the Rams answered with two of their own in the bottom of the inning, sparked by a two-run single off the bat of Jason Souder.
Austin Rodenburger earned the win on the mound.
The Rams held a 7-6 edge in hits with no one from either team collecting more than one hit.
Pennridge (8-4, 5-2 SOL) will host Southern Lehigh on Monday in a non-league contest, and Upper Moreland (6-2, 5-1) will be on the road at Plymouth Whitemarsh on Tuesday.

SOUDERTON 11, UPPER DUBLIN 0 (5 innings)
The Flying Cardinals took a seven-game winning streak into Friday’s non-league game, but the Indians brought an abrupt end to the Cards’ unbeaten season, winning in decisive fashion.
Brett Moyer’s RBI double in the first inning gave the Indians a lead they would not lose. They added a single run in the second and two more in the third and blew the game wide open with a seven-run outburst in the fourth.
Highlights of the inning included RBI singles by Cole Niles, Jake Smerecki and Greg Gallagher with Justin Kullman delivering a two-run double.
Moyer led the Indians’ 11-hit attack with a 2-for-2 effort that included a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Gallagher was 2-for-3 with one RBI. Derek Freed was 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored. Jake Morgan was 1-for-2 with one RBI.
UD’s Thomas Reilly was 2-for-2, accounting for two of his team’s three hits.
A trio of Souderton hurlers limited the Cardinals to just three hits. Morgan, who notched the win, allowed two hits in three scoreless innings, fanning five and walking none. Niles gave up one hit and fanned two in one scoreless frame, and Miles Minnick closed it out with a scoreless fifth. He did not allow a hit and struck out two.
Souderton (7-3, 5-2) will host Hatboro-Horsham on Tuesday, and Upper Dublin (7-1, 6-0) will be on the road at Norristown on Tuesday.
