Joe McFillin had a hand in four goals for the Hatters, scoring a hat trick and assisting on another. The Hatters, who led 3-1 after one quarter, took a 5-3 lead into halftime. The two teams exchanged goals in the second half.
Anderson Kirby recorded 24 saves in a standout effort in goal for the Hatters.

The Indians took a 5-3 lead into halftime, but the visiting Bears erased that advantage with a 4-0 third quarter and then held on for the non-league win.
Logan Blair’s six-point game led the Indians. Logan Carnes had six ground balls to lead the Indians’ defense.

After battling to a 4-4 tie after one quarter, the Patriots outscored the visiting Trojans 6-2 to go into halftime with a 10-6 lead on their way to the non-league SOL crossover win.
Paige Dougherty had a hand in six goals, scoring four and assisting two others to lead the Patriots’ attack.

“We made a deliberate effort to focus on the fundamentals today, playing with both purpose and patience. Even at times when momentum shifted, the girls never got flustered; they stayed poised, trusted each other, and stuck to the game plan. It was a complete team effort.
“It did take us a little while to settle in and get going today, but by the second quarter, the attack started finding openings in Wissahickon’s zone, hitting open cutters and getting quick shots off. Our defense was able to make adjustments after the first quarter and as a result kept Wiss to only three additional goals. Lora Collins continued to impress with 10 saves.”
Up next: Central Bucks East is off until Tuesday, April 7, when the Patriots will travel to Upper Perkiomen for a non-league game.

STRATH HAVEN 11, PENNSBURY 10
The Falcons did battle with a strong Strath Haven team in a non-league contest Friday.
“We battled to the end just to fall one goal short,” Pennsbury coach Beth Golder said. “It was an incredible team win, and I am so proud of my kids. They fought for every ground ball, made smart decisions and played tenacious defense.
“Abby Hicks, Amanda Fichtel, Molly Snyder and Cailyn Reily played an amazing game as a united defensive unit. It was a back-and-forth game and was so fun to be a part of. The girls played their hearts out and left everything on the field.
“Our senior goalie, Abby Smoyer, made her 200th career save and played lights out with 13 saves on the night.”
By the numbers: Annie Cimochowski led all scorers with four goals and one assist and Sasha Dobos also had five points on the night, with three goals and two assists. Abby McCole tallied two goals and Abby Iacona finished with one goal and two assists. Ryan Burdette was outstanding on the draw circle with five draw controls and also scooped up five ground balls. As a team we had 3 CT, 15 GB and 12 DC.

UPPER MERION 5, UPPER MORELAND 0
The Golden Bears turned in a strong defensive effort but never could find their offense in a non-league loss to the Vikings.

“Molly McCann had a phenomenal game today in goal with 12 saves. Eva Gorell had a great game on the draw coming out with four draw controls. Leah King hustled all over the field and did a great job on the draw. Our defense did a good job working together to get Upper Merion to work hard for each goal.”

It was another win today as the Lady Rams hosted in Neshaminy for their second conference contest.
Pennridge coach Maddie Dachowski:
–The game: “Tonight we focused on testing our depth and getting a ton of different looks. We mixed up a few things and had 14 different goal scorers on the night. Looking forward to a very competitive week as we take on Penncrest and Marple Newtown back to back.”
–Player Props: “Maddie Simon looked great on the draw tonight! She was confident and in control coming up with three clean wins. She also contributed two ground balls and one caused turnover.
“Marley Ambruch also has a great night on the circle with three draws. She secured three ground balls and caused three turnovers and put up her first two varsity goals.
“Another standout tonight was Naomi Nulty with a phenomenal defensive performance. Nulty contributed three ground balls, three caused turnovers and a goal for the Rams. Naomi looks very confident out there, and I was really proud to see her shine in those moments.
