Nonleague
Archbishop Wood 0, Central Bucks South 0
Central Bucks South honored its 12-member senior class in Friday’s Senior Night game, then forged a scoreless tie with nonleague opponent Archbishop Wood.
Central Bucks South coach Dana Cole on the Senior Night honorees: “We honored our 12 seniors who are all an integral part of our program, including Ava Richardson, who is sadly out for the season with an ACL tear. But she will continue her soccer career at Arcadia next year. The other seniors were Maddie Roe, Ella Parish, Sienna Carone (GK) Olivia Creswick, Julianna Parrish, Nina Wade, Alex Tropea, Victoria Chrzanowski, Morgan Sowash (GK), Katelyn Schmidt, and Lucy Keane. They represented South with dignity and grace tonight and gave a hard-fought effort to beat Wood but, unfortunately, couldn’t seal the deal with a goal to put us ahead. We had many opportunities, but no finishes.”
Up next: South will host Abington on Tuesday.

Lower Moreland coach Todd Hill: “Our girls played a really strong game tonight under the lights against an athletic St. Hubert’s team. It was definitely a back-and-forth battle, but our girls absorbed Huberts’ pressure and strong physical play with composure and discipline.”
—Scoring roundup: “Midway through the first half, senior attacker Shannon Mahon broke free but the Huberts’ keeper had a great save. However, after a scrum in front of the goal, Agnes maintained her composure and buried a shot in the back of the net.
“Coming into the second half ahead 1-0, our girls settled into a really smart game. They put a lot of pressure on Huberts and that led to senior midfielder Quinn Rozanski serving Kroll yet another ball, and she had a beautiful shot into the far side of the net.
“The pressure continued, and with around 15 minutes left in the game, senior midfielder Jordyn Fox served a ball to Shannon Mahon, who struck a powerful shot into the upper 90s.”
—Kroll shines: “Tonight, senior Agnes Kroll was a player on a mission! She dominated the middle of the field, winning 50/50 balls, distributing to teammates, and scoring goals.”
—More props: “Also a shout-out to sophomore midfielder Ella Fey. She was really aggressive and smart in her play. And another shutout for senior keeper Mariah Gazzara, who remains such an anchor for us in the back.”
Up next: The Lions will host Neshaminy on Tuesday.

Plymouth Whitemarsh coach TJ Delucia:
–Special seniors: “Terrific evening honoring our six seniors: Emily Eddinger, Izzy Jackson, Maddi Lazaroff, Soph Nagle, Liv Patete, and Bella Zeoli. Perfect weather and a great crowd of students, staff, friends, and family, which demonstrates how this senior class is viewed by the Plymouth Whitemarsh community.”
–The game: “Bensalem played very hard, and we had to fight for everything we got. There is always a little bit of added pressure on Senior Night, so for JJ Lafferty to score her first goal of the season, less than three minutes into the game, helped everyone relax. JJ – as a sophomore – has had, honestly, an elite season at left back. I’m glad she was rewarded with a beautiful strike from 20 yards out.
“Equally as exciting was junior Sarai Salmons scoring her first varsity goal for us. Sarai has been starting for us for a few games now and continues to perform well.
“A few minutes later, we had another first. Sophomore Emma Shelby scored her first varsity goal. Emma has really come on over the past couple of games and her minutes have increased. Tonight, she took a really nice strike out of a ball in the air.
“To close out the first half, sophomore Emma Meyer scored her second goal of the season. JJ Lafferty played a beautiful through ball from the defensive half, and Emma Meyer finished it with composure on a breakaway.
“It’s been an exhausting week with three games in four days thus far, and two night games in a row … but we have one more game to get through tomorrow. I have confidence our team will be ready to play.”
