PENNSBURY 6, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 5 (4 OT)
It took eight periods to decide a victor.
After battling to a 5-5 deadlock at the end of regulation, Pennsbury and Central Bucks South played four overtime frames before Brad Hill scored his second goal of the game in the fourth overtime period to lift Pennsbury to a 6-5 win over the Titans in Wednesday’s National Conference showdown.
In addition to his overtime heroics, Hill won 14-of-18 faceoffs and also picked up 9 ground balls.
Trent Becker also scored 2 goals for the Falcons, and Jaden Beach made 12 critical saves in the win.

PENNRIDGE 12, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 7
Central Bucks West kept the Pennridge attack under wraps for one half.
The Bucks held the National Conference frontrunners to just 3 goals in the first half and took a 4-3 lead into halftime.
But the Rams kicked it into high gear after the break, pouring in 9 goals in the second half to pull ahead and then pull away to earn a 12-7 victory on Wednesday.
Reid Moyer led Pennridge with 4 goals and 2 assists, while Kevin Matthews added 4 goals and Levi Souder had a hat trick and 1 assist.
Alex Greenspan led the Bucks with 5 points. He scored 4 goals and added 1 assist, the 100th assist of his varsity career.

Caiden Myers scored 4 goals and had 1 assist, and Emerson Morelli had a 1 goal and 3 assists as North Penn topped Council Rock North 9-3 in Wednesday’s National Conference matchup.
Connor Howard made 10 saves for the Knights.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 14, NESHAMINY 5
Council Rock South sent out their senior class in style on Wednesday.
The Golden Hawks honored their 8 elder statesmen – Owen Dillon, Joey Smith, Logan Foy, Ryan Hanejko, Michael Houser, Armandi Gutierre, Harrison Kim, and Billy Houser – on Senior Night, then topped National Conference opponent Neshaminy 14-5.
Yet it was a junior who led all scorers in this game, with the Hawks’ Conor McCaffrey tallying 5 goals and 1 assist while also scooping up 4 ground balls.
Smith – who scored the 100th goal of his varsity career earlier in the week – added 4 goals as well as 2 assists.
Austin Tvarok led Neshaminy with 2 goals.

Max Mariano scored 3 goals and Shane Phillips added 2 and won 8-of-13 faceoffs as Hatboro-Horsham doubled up Abington 8-4 in Wednesday’s American Conference game.
Anderson Kirby made 14 saves for the Hatters.

Liam Ruhren (4 saves) and Kyle Crump (2 saves) split time in the cage to earn the shutout as Wissahickon rolled to a 17-0 blanking of Cheltenham in Wednesday’s American Conference game.
On the other end of the field, 10 different players had a hand in the scoring, with Nolan Pounds posting an 8-point effort with 2 goals and 6 assists. Colin Murphy led the Trojans with 3 goals and also went 5-for-8 from the faceoff circle.

Matthew Shohen led all scorers with 4 goals and an assist and Reece Taylor picked up a hat trick as Upper Dublin downed New Hope-Solebury 11-3 in Wednesday’s American Conference matchup.
Ben Shervin made 8 saves for the Cardinals.
