Check out the recaps for SOL baseball teams in action Wednesday.

SOL Patriot Division
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 1, HARRY S TRUMAN 0
As SOL openers go, Pat Dougherty had himself a good one. The Indians’ senior pitcher needed just 76 pitches to throw six shutout innings.
“It was a classic pitcher’s duel,” Rock North coach Matt Schram said. “(Dougherty) had no walks, one hit and 10 strikeouts. He did hit a few guys – he hit three guys, but he had such great command today.
“He was throwing all his pitches on any count – it didn’t matter. He kept them off balance. He did a great job. I was real proud of Pat. He was begging me, begging me to go out and finish the game, but it’s too early in the season to throw that many pitches. I’m not jumping into that bandwagon of throwing a hundred pitches the first game.”
Matt Herbert did not allow a hit in a scoreless seventh in relief. He struck out three and walked one.
The Indians needed a shutout performance on a day when the Tigers’ pitchers were also mowing batters down.
“Ryan Cavanaugh is real good,” Schram said of the Tigers’ starter. “He is one of the top guys in our league, and he did a great job.”
The Indians scored the only run they would need in the second inning when Noah Hoskins, who bats out of the eight hole, lined a two-out single to center and then scored on Nolan Riesenberger’s triple to right.
“The right fielder dove to try and make a great play and it went past him,” Schram said. “It was the only run of the game.
“It really was a great game, an exciting game. It was fun to be at. It was a typical SOL game.”
Cavanaugh threw 4.1 innings, allowing four hits while striking out 10 and walking four. Alex Matlack did not allow a hit in 1.2 innings and Luke Olivero threw a scoreless seventh.
Council Rock North (2-0, 1-0 SOL) will travel to Bensalem on Thursday, and Harry S Truman (0-1) will host Pennsbury on Thursday.

The Panthers managed just two hits – a single by Nate Scheetz and a double by Qualteria.
Matt Marsten started for the Panthers and in 2.1 innings allowed just one hit while striking out five. He did give up two runs but both were unearned. Jackson Gilman threw a scoreless sixth inning in relief.
