Quakertown 11, Norristown 1
The Panthers scored in every inning but one and ended the game with a big sixth inning to 10-run Norristown on Wednesday afternoon.
Quakertown scored single runs in the first, second and third added two in the fourth and closed out with a big six-run sixth inning.
“We like to use the picket fence approach,” said Quakertown head coach Jon Pallone. “We try to score a run in every inning to give us seven for the game. We try to do both (have a big inning).”
Quakertown was to play at their home Field at Memorial Park, but the field still has some puddles around it due to the recent bad weather.
“Hopefully, by this weekend we can get on there,” said Pallone.

“We had a nice sacrifice bunt from Woolfenden,” Said Pallone. “It was very well placed where the pitcher could not get it. It was a sacrifice that went for a hit.
“Lilly and Curry both had hard line drives. I do not think that Curry’s went above six feet. It one-hopped the wall.”
Evan Kuprewicz did not allow a hit in two scoreless innings in relief for the Panthers (1-1, 0-1 SOL). Andy Faunce absorbed the loss for the Eagles, allowing five runs in four innings.

Central Bucks South 10, Council Rock South 0
One big inning is all CB South would need in its non-league victory on Wednesday afternoon. The Titans broke open a one-run game in the fourth by scoring seven runs.
“We executed well,” said head coach Mike Schaefer. “We did some good situational hitting. We got a couple of big hits for extra bases.”
If the weather holds out, which it should, the Titans will play three straight contests when they take on Harry S Truman on Thursday afternoon.
“We still have not practiced on our own field,” said Schaefer. “We will not practice till Saturday or Monday.”
Neither the coach nor the players seem to mind the fact that they are playing three straight games without the benefit of practicing on a field.
“They just to play, they look forward to it,” Schaefer said.
