WISSAHICKON 7, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 4
The Trojans led from wire to wire, opening up a 3-0 lead before the Colonials got on the board in the fifth on their way to the conference win.
Andrew Seitz’s RBI single in the second put the Trojans on top 1-0, and they added two more in the third inning that included Jeremy Spittle’s RBI single.
In the top of the fifth, the Colonials received an RBI single from John Pecharo to make it a 3-1 game, but the Trojans answered with four runs in the bottom of the inning to all but put the game out of reach. Logan Willans’ RBI double highlighted the inning.
The Colonials didn’t go down quietly, scoring a pair in the sixth and one more in the seventh. In the sixth, PW was sparked by a sacrifice fly off the bat of Justin Gelfand as well as an RBI single by Adam McKinlay. In the seventh, Andrew Kliesh contributed an RBI single.
The Trojans held a 7-5 edge in hits, but no one had more than one hit. Spittle finished with a pair of RBIs. Alex Tappen and Willans each had a double.
PW was led by the 2-for-3 effort of Pecharo, who doubled, drove in one run and scored one run.
Matt Shilling earned the win, allowing one hit while fanning six and walking three in four innings of work. Jake Kuruc absorbed the loss for the Colonials.
Wissahickon (4-5, 4-2 SOL) will host Upper Dublin on Tuesday, and Plymouth Whitemarsh (2-6, 1-4) will host Cheltenham Tuesday.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 7, WILLIAM TENNENT 1
The Patriots pounded out 10 hits while the Panthers managed just four off a trio of East hurlers in Monday’s non-league contest.
In the top of the first, East put a pair of runs on the board, capitalizing on a hit batter, a walk as well as an RBI single from Collin Sheehan and a sacrifice fly by CJ Gillmer. They upped their lead to 5-0 with three more runs in the second. Adam Jozefiak led off the frame with a double to right, and that opened the floodgates for four consecutive singles by PJ Harris, Matt Ernst, Cameron Komanchak and Danny Schick.
The Patriots took a 7-0 lead before the Panthers plated a single run in the bottom of the seventh.
Schick (2-for-2, RBI, two runs), Sheehan (2-for-3, 2B, 2 RBIs) and Ernst (2-for-3, one run) all finished with a pair of hits for the Patriots. For the Panthers, Ryan Lucas was 2-for-4.
Ari Silverstein earned the win for the Patriots, allowing three hits and no runs while striking out one and walking four in 5.2 innings. Kyle Feasby allowed one hit and one run in one inning of relief, fanning two and walking two. Andrew Collins collected the game’s final out.
Central Bucks East (4-5, 0-5 SOL) will be on the road at Central Bucks West Tuesday. William Tennent (3-5, 2-3) will host Bensalem Tuesday.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 9, NEUMANN-GORETTI 2
The Saints plated a run in the first, but the rest of the game belonged to the visiting Indians, who rolled to the convincing non-league win.
The Indians pounded out 11 hits off a trio of Saint hurlers. Three Rock North pitchers saw action. All three were effective.
Joe Preciado allowed four hits and one run while striking out five and walking none in four innings. Tyler Marlow did not allow a hit in two scoreless innings, walking one and striking out one. Eric Hoefer closed it out for the Indians.
Chase D’Arcangelo was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, and Jared Schram had another productive day at the plate, finishing 2-for-3 with four RBIs. His two-run double highlighted a three-run fifth. Setz Leuz had a pair of RBIs. Cole Olshavsky and Matt Shenot contributed doubles for the Indians.
Council Rock North (8-0, 4-0 SOL) will put its perfect record on the line on Tuesday when the Indians will host Abington.
