QUAKERTOWN 4, PENNRIDGE 2
In Wednesday’s annual battle between the neighboring rivals, it was the Panthers earning bragging rights for the upcoming year.
The two teams exchanged runs in the first and fourth innings. The difference in the game was the Panthers’ two-run uprising in the second that included a base hit by Drew San Angelo and several Ram miscues.
Jake Reed led the Panthers with a 3-for-4 effort that included a double, two RBIs and a run scored. San Angelo was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Brian Robison also had an RBI.
For Pennridge, Tyler Wright was 2-for-3 with a double, and Kolby Rush also was 2-for 3.
Vic Morelock earned the win on the mound, allowing three hits and one run in two innings. Andrew Mayhew absorbed the loss.
Quakertown (11-3 SOL) closed out its regular season with a 15-5 record. Pennridge (4-8 SOL) finished its season with a 6-14 record.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 4, UPPER MERION 3
The Titans found themselves staring at a 3-0 hole after two innings, and that score stood until the seventh inning when – in their final opportunity – the Titans scored four runs to escape with the non-league win.
In a contest that saw 17 Titans make plate appearances, it was Tyler Watson doing most of the damage, finishing 1-for-2 with a home run, two RBIs and one run scored. Joey Loynd was 1-for-1 with an RBI.
Andrew Dietz earned the win, allowing two hits and two earned runs in two innings. Chris Farrell threw five shutout innings, scattering three hits while fanning five and walking two.
Central Bucks South (5-7 SOL) closed its regular season with a 10-9 record.

METHACTON 5, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3
Four West pitchers combined to allow just six hits and two earned runs, but they were victimized by several costly miscues. The Bucks led 3-1 heading into the fourth inning. The visiting Warriors scored once in the top of the fourth and then won it with three runs in the fifth.
Steven Gebre and Thomas Philipps each contributed a double for the Bucks. Matt Cooper was 1-for-2 with two RBIs.
Chris Heller allowed just one hit in three scoreless innings in relief.
Central Bucks West (4-8 SOL) closed out its season with a 6-13 record.

ROMAN CATHOLIC 7, UPPER DUBLIN 2
Roman put three runs on the board in both the first and second innings, and the Flying Cardinals found themselves trailing 6-2 after two innings. They would get no closer the rest of the way.
Justin Horn led the Cardinals seven-hit attack. He was 2-for-2 with an RBI and run scored out of the leadoff spot. JT Breslin was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Brian McPeak had the Cards only extra base hit – a double.
Jason Greene absorbed the loss.
Upper Dublin (4-10 SOL) closed out its season with a 6-14 record.
