Check out the recaps for SOL baseball teams in action Thursday.

Non-league
COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 12, WISSAHICKON 5
Two teams heading into district play used Thursday’s non-league contest to give plenty of players game action. The visiting Golden Hawks took a 4-0 lead in the top of the first and led wire to wire.
The four-run first included an RBI double by Braden Keller as well as singles by Billy O’Neill, Reed Curtier (RBI) and Zach Rementer (RBI). The Trojans scored a run without collecting a hit in the bottom of the inning, and they pulled to within one with two runs in the second (4-3). They would get no closer the rest of the way.
Sam Serpiello (2-for-4, RBI, 1R), O’Neill (2-for-3, 1R) and Curtier (2-for-5, 2 RBIs, 1R) led the Golden Hawks. Rementer was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run. Adding one RBI each were Graeme Sajeski, Joey Pirone and Shane Myers.
Mason Curtier threw 3.2 shutout innings in relief, allowing five hits while striking out four and walking four.
For the Trojans, Brayden Ryan was 2-for-2 with an RBI and run scored out of the leadoff spot, and Andy Yun was 2-for-3 with a run scored.
Council Rock South (10-10, 7-9) will travel to #9 Upper Darby for Monday’s opening round game of the District 1 6A Tournament, and Wissahickon (13-7, 10-6) will host #20 Harry S Truman in an all-SOL opening round district game on Monday.

The Raptors put a run on the board in the first without a hit, benefitting from a hit batter, two walks and an RBI groundout. They led the rest of the way.
