Check out the recaps for SOL baseball teams in action Friday.

Non-league
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 6, ABINGTON 5
The Titans took a seemingly comfortable 6-1 lead into the seventh inning only to watch the Ghosts come roaring back to make it a one-run game. With Abington runners on second and third – the tying and winning runs, Chuckie Carter came up with a clutch strikeout to preserve the non-league win.
A three-run sixth put the Titans on top 5-1 and included singles by Jake Trachtenberg, Mitchell, Michael Marino (RBI) and Carter Hinds. They also benefitted from a costly Ghost miscue.
In the Ghosts’ four-run seventh, Angelo Pearson and Stephen Vogl (RBI) both singled. Ryan Daniels had a sacrifice fly.
Carter Hinds led the Titans with a 2-for-2 effort that included a run scored. Dakota Beck was 1-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored.
Vogl’s 3-for-4 led the Ghosts and included a pair of RBIs. Cam Marrow was 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored.
Four pitchers saw action for the Titans. Kevin Gillard allowed two hits and struck out a pair in two scoreless innings to start the game.
Central Bucks South (9-5, 6-4 SOL) will host Council Rock South on Tuesday, and Abington (3-13, 2-9) will travel to Bensalem for a non-league game.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 6, WISSAHICKON 0
Five pitchers combined to toss an impressive two-hit shutout in Friday’s non-league game, combining for 10 strikeouts. They did not walk a batter.
Freshman Aidan Weaver started and allowed two hits in three shutout innings. He struck out five. Junior Ethan Weiss did not allow a hit in two shutout innings, striking out a pair. Sophomore Jack Hamilton and junior Kyle Morrison each threw a shutout inning to close it out.
With one out in the first, Wissahickon’s Joe Liotta and Brian Hynes collected back-to-back singles. After that, East’s pitchers and a flawless Patriot defense combined to retire 20 straight.
“Every one of them pounded the strike zone and attacked hitters with multiple pitches,” coach Kyle Dennis said.
The Patriots got the only run they would need in the top of the first. Nick Bitsko and Tony Rossi opened the frame with back-to-back singles. Bitsko scored on Jack Nugent’s sacrifice fly. A three-run fourth included singles by Jake Quillen and Andrew Whinney (RBI) as well as a sacrifice fly by Jack Duffy (RBI). A third run crossed the plate on an error.
Bitsko was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored out of the leadoff spot. Whinney was 2-for-3 with an RBI. The Patriots’ remaining seven hits were all contributed by underclassmen.
Central Bucks East (8-9, 3-7 SOL) will host Quakertown on Tuesday, and Wissahickon (5-10, 4-7) will host Abington on Tuesday.

CENTRAL BUCKS 16, UPPER DUBLIN 1 (5 innings)
Conlan Wall earned the starting nod for Souderton in Friday’s non-league game against his father’s Upper Dublin squad. On this day, Conlan – who allowed one hit in two scoreless innings – had bragging rights. He struck out three and walked none.
By the time coach Mike Childs went to his bullpen in the third, the Indians led 6-0, and they never stopped scoring, posting eight runs in the fifth to bring an early end to the game.
Back-to-back doubles by Dean Shaw and Jake Horton (RBI) put the Indians on top 1-0. They added four runs in the second and added to that lead in each of the next three innings.
Shaw’s 3-for-3 effort led the Indians and included two doubles, one RBI and three runs scored. All told, the Indians collected 15 hits with 12 players each collecting one hit. Aaron Groller, Horton, Austin Jones, Jordan Morales, Evan Moyer and Eric Ritchie each contributed a double.

QUAKERTOWN 5, SOUTHERN LEHIGH 4
It was the seniors stealing the spotlight in Friday’s non-league contest against Southern Lehigh. The seniors played the entire game and celebrated Senior Night by notching a non-league win that was anything but easy. The Panthers took a 5-1 lead into the seventh inning and then withstood a furious comeback by the Spartans, who had the tying run on third base.
Sam Rice received the starting nod on the mound and threw four strong innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out four and walking one. Andrew Nace and Sean Brennan each threw a scoreless frame.
Nolan Byrnes was 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored out of the leadoff spot. Also contributing multiple hits were TJ Camacho (2-for-3), Brad Bryan (2-for-3) and Adam Ritter (2-for-4). Ritter, according to coach Jon Pallone, played every position, including left and center in the same inning and first and right, also in the same inning.
