SOL National Conference Season in Review
The 2014-2015 season was all about the two elite teams in the conference – Abington and Pennsbury. The Ghosts were the team that collected the most trophies for their trophy case this season with a SOL National Conference championship – a SOL Final Four Championship – and a coveted District One championship. Abington was upset in its state tournament opener against Lancaster McCaskey. The Falcons collected no trophies, but they were the last team standing from the SOL National in the PIAA Quad-A state tournament. Pennsbury won a pair of state contests before losing in the state quarterfinals to nationally ranked – and eventual state champion – Roman Catholic.
