HATBORO-HORSHAM 12, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 8
The Hatters picked up an impressive conference road win on Thursday, once again using a balanced attack. Owen Winters led the way with four goals and two assists while Logan Eldridge added two goals and one assist. Tim McPoyle and Joe Larouche each had a pair of goals. Cameron Knox and Bryan Remailey both contributed one goal and two assists to close out the scoring.
The two teams battled to a 2-2 tie after one period, but the Hatters used a 5-2 second quarter surge to go into halftime with a 7-4 lead. They took a 10-6 lead into the final quarter that saw the two teams exchange goals.
For the Titans, Dante Poli had a big game with four goals, one assist and two ground balls. Joe Vitelli added two goals, one assist and four ground balls. Justin Abbonizio had one goal and one assist, Mike Dutkiewicz, one goal, and Ian Vogt, one assist. Jake Laut (five ground balls, three caused turnovers) and Steve Nowelski (four ground balls, three caused turnovers) had strong defensive games for the Titans. Dan Mignogna had one ground ball.
Brian Hood won 17-of-23 on faceoffs. Goalie Joe Brophy was credited with nine saves in a winning effort.
Hatboro-Horsham (2-1, 2-0 SOL) will host Central Bucks East on Tuesday, and Central Bucks South (1-1 SOL) will be on the road at Council Rock South on Monday.

PENNRIDGE 11, LOWER MERION 5
Kyle Fanelli turned in a glittering six-goal, one-assist effort to lead the Rams to the non-league road win. Chris Warner scored one goal and assisted on four others. Nick Fanelli contributed two goals and one assist, and Sean Fechter added one goal and two assists. Ryan Garner (one goal, one assist) and Bobby Maher (one goal) also contributed to the attack.
Denton States was credited with 10 saves in a winning effort in goal.
The visiting Rams and Aces battled to a 1-1 tie after one period, but the Rams put some distance between themselves and their hosts with a four-goal second period to go into halftime with a 5-1 lead. They never looked back.
Pennridge (2-1) will travel to Central Bucks West on Friday for a 7 p.m. contest.

SOUDERTON 6, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 4
The Indians, who trailed 1-0 at halftime, still found themselves staring at a 3-0 deficit with seven minutes remaining in the final quarter. That’s when their offense came to life, closing out the game with a 6-1 tear to earn the hard fought win.
Jaje Phaup scored a pair of goals while Trent Breneman, Adam Booz, Walker Martin and Jake Portolese added single goals. Cory Azeff added an assist.
Phaup was 9-of-13 on faceoffs.
Goalie Tyler Asbury turned away 15 shots in a standout effort.
Coach Mark Princehorn lauded the team’s “phenomenal defensive effort” led by seniors Matt Pierce, Justin Russell, Alec Morshead and Asbury.
Souderton (1-1) will host Neshaminy on Monday night (7 p.m.)

The Ghosts hung tough with the Firebirds in Thursday’s non-league contest. John Petriccione scored a pair of goals, and Ryan Herman added a single goal. Dominic Ricciardi and Nate Rose each contributed an assist.
