CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 12, OWEN J ROBERTS 2

The Patriots of Central Bucks East traveled west to play the Wildcats of Owen J Roberts Tuesday evening under the lights. The game started with the Wildcats and Patriots scoring one goal each in the first quarter, then also putting one on the board in the second quarter for a 2-2 deadlock at halftime. The Patriots came out and dominated the second half, scoring six goals in the third quarter and four in the fourth en route to a 12-2 victory over the hard-working Wildcats.
Michael Ott and Ryan Stout led the Patriots in the scoring column as each had three goals in the contest. Stout had two in the first half and one goal in the second, and Ott scored all three of his goals in the second half. Jacob Manion had a strong game with two goals within 45 seconds of one another during the third quarter. East had single goals from Greg Scholz, Collin Stein, Jake Ventresca, and LSM John Galow. Scholz, Stout, Stein, and Galow also chipped in with one assist each.
On the defensive end, East communicated effectively as a unit to come up with another gritty performance and locked down the Wlidcats in the second half. Jake Kueny, Tyler Tracy, Drew Bethke, John Galow and Nick Lyons provided the protection needed for Liam Rosenthal, who also had another stellar outing by stopping six shots on the day. Collin Stein proved unstoppable in the transition game as the Patriots were able to go 10 of 12 on clears for the day.
Michael Ott controlled face-offs once again by winning all 15 of his opportunities. Long pole, Jake Kueny also added a face off win.
Ott finished with a team-high nine ground balls, and Stein scooped up eight. Galow added four while Scholz and Stout each had a pair. Tracy, Kueny and Bethke had one ground ball each. Stein also had three caused turnovers, Kueny had two, and Ryan Carroll, Bethke and Galow had one each.
The East Patriots (5-0) will shift their attention to Friday where they will host Pine Richland at 3:30pm.

SOUDERTON 12, PENNSBURY 9
Dylan Anderson scored four goals while teammate Stephen Blue had three goals and three assists to lead the Indians to a non-league win over the Falcons.
Walker Martin had two goals and one assist, and Adam Booz added one goal and two assists. Cole Witoslawski and Jalen White both chipped in a goal and an assist
Souderton goalie Axell Beskaer was credited with nine saves in the win.
For the Falcons, Ben Abraham led the way with four goals, and Luke Vando collected a hat trick. Contributing one goal each were Nate Racagno, Nick Sutton and Max Jackman. Will Anderson added an assist. Jake Krefetz led the Falcons with six ground balls, and Bryse Raniello scooped up four ground balls. Ryan Dezutel added three ground balls. Jake Krefetz won 13 of 18 face-offs, and Dezutel won 4 of 7.
Tim Davis (nine saves) and Jake Blohm (three saves) split time in goal for the Falcons.
Souderton (5-2) will be on the road at Springfield Montco for a 5 p.m. contest on Thursday, and Pennsbury (4-3) will be on the road at New Hope-Solebury on Thursday.
SAUCON VALLEY 11, QUAKERTOWN 6
The Panthers took a 4-1 lead into halftime and still led 6-4 heading into the final quarter when their visitors closed out the game with a 7-0 tear.
Quakertown received goals from six different players: Frank Claus, Ben McGann, Christian Morarano, Jeff Royal, Jake Lake and Chase Oliver. Claus and McGann both had a pair of assists while Royal and Lewis had one each.
Quakertown (2-4) will host Lansdale Catholic on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
ACADEMY OF THE NEW CHURCH 9, NORTH PENN 4
ANC took a tenuous 2-1 lead into halftime but erupted for five goals in the third quarter on its way to the non-league win.
Stephen Rinck scored a pair of goals for the Knights while Andrew Kelly and Danny Payne each added single goals. Payne, Eric Diamond and Nic Conroy each chipped in an assist.
Terryn Arnott won three draws and RJ Macnamara, one draw.
North Penn goalie Bryon Rimmer recorded four saves.
North Penn (4-2) will host Neshaminy on Thursday.
Monday, April 9
NESHAMINY 11, ROMAN CATHOLIC 5
Dawson Obringer had two goals and one assist and was a dominant force at the X, winning 11-of-11 face-offs in Monday’s convincing non-league win. Nick Donato led the attack with four goals and one assist, and Gabe MacIlvaine added two goals and two assists.
“Gabe is playing great and seeing the field,” coach Curt Zeberlein said.
Adding one goal each were Mason Zeberlein, Connor McVey and Noah Weiman. McVey and John Hughes each chipped in an assist.
Hughes led the Redskins with five ground balls while Obringer, Weiman and Chris Quinlan had three each. Mason Demi had a pair and adding one each were Zeberlein, Donato, MacIlvaine, McVey, Corey Renman, Matt Levan, Joey DeMatteo, Charlie Potash and Grant Cook. Cook and McVey each had a caused turnover.
Garrison Toto (four saves) and Joe Ardin (two saves) split time in goal for the Redskins.
Neshaminy (4-0) will travel to North Penn on Thursday.
