PENNSBURY 14, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 7
Jack Kalinowski scored seven goals and assisted on another in an impressive offensive outing to lead the Falcons to their fifth win of the young season, their third without a loss in conference play.
They raced out of the gate to an 8-2 halftime lead and never looked back.
“We were able to get out in transition and score some quick goals,” Pennsbury coach Dean Curtis said. “We really haven’t gotten out to that fast start, and today we were able to get the ball out in transition, and our attack did not hold the ball. They moved it well and shared the ball. It resulted in some really pretty transition goals.”
In addition to Kalinowski, Reece Millman and Avery Dysart both had two goals and one assist. Shane Siegmund had one goal and three assists. Adding one goal each were Will Taylor and Ryan DeZutel. Jeff Pirog chipped in an assist.
“We were moving the ball well today, and we found the open man pretty well on the back side and shared the ball,” Curtis said. “(Goalie) Nico (Cione) had a good game, and our defense is allowing Nico to see the shots, which is helping him.
“The defense is playing really well, giving up the shots we want to give up and that allows Nico to make those saves.”
Cione was credited with 13 saves in another impressive outing.
The Falcons’ coach lauded the strong play of defensemen Will Cusick and Nick Bidlingmaier.
“They had great games for us today,” Curtis said.
For the Titans, Cole Cenci had a hat trick while Nicholas Fareno added a pair of goals. Logan Dunn had a goal and an assist, and Reese Levinson also had a goal. Liam Brittin and Evan Jacobsen both contributed an assist.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 12, QUAKERTOWN 1
The Colonials won their third conference game without a loss. They took a 5-0 lead into halftime and scored just once in the third quarter before erupting for six goals in the final period.
“I’ve got a lot of respect for the Quakertown lacrosse team – they are clearly well coached and solid defensively,” PW coach Whit Bruemmer said. “The score does not indicate how close the game was.”
Luke Wendler led the Colonials offensively with four goals and four assists.
“Jake Hetzel had a strong game for us at the face-off X,” Bruemmer said. “We had great contributions for our close defense, Jared Kolsun, Frank Lynch and Derrick Norbeck.”
The Colonials took a 5-0 lead into halftime.
“I was incredibly impressed with our defensive effort throughout the game,” Quakertown coach Jay Donis said. “This week we’ve dealt with injuries and COVID situations, but the players are resilient.
“Our LSM’s (long stick midfielders) Micah Kunkle, Cody Jefferson and Jacob Wackerman did a great job for all four quarters, making offense tough sledding for PW.”
Paul Lancose, according to Donis, made a number of outstanding saves.
Plymouth Whitemarsh (3-1, 3-0 SOL) will travel to North Penn on Wednesday, and Quakertown (1-4, 0-3) will host Neshaminy on Thursday.
