SOL National Conference
Central Bucks West 6, Pennridge 5
The visiting Rams threw a scare into the conference’s top squad, opening up a 3-1 halftime lead. The Bucks rallied to knot the score 4-4 after three quarters and needed some late-game heroics to eke out the win.
Jake Lang scored the game-winner with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter. Lang took a feed from Erik Ojert and deposited the winning goal with two minutes and six seconds remaining as Central Bucks West moved to 4-0 in conference play.
Ojert led the Bucks with two goals and an assist. Christian Kunkle, Jeff Woosnam and Conner Albrecht also had goals for the Bucks while Jake Ojert and Max Dunar each had an assist. Garret Hitchens won 11-of-13 face-offs.
Logan Lazacz led the Rams with a game-high four goals and Nick Fanelli had one. Each also had one assist.
Dunar made 14 saves in goal for the Bucks while Austin Swartley had nine saves for the Rams.
Central Bucks West (9-1, 4-0 SOL) will travel to Council Rock South Friday, and Pennridge (5-6, 1-3) will host Harry S Truman on Friday.

Central Bucks East 13, Council Rock North 5
Central Bucks East used stingy defense and six goals from Ryan Stout to post a National Conference victory over host Council Rock North on Tuesday.
The Patriots led 6-2 at halftime before adding four more goals in the third quarter to take control.
In addition to Stout, who also had two assists, the Patriots received three goals and an assist from Ryan Carroll and a pair of goals from Matt Melendez. Nick Knepp and Jonah Osborne each had one goal in the win.
Ryan Gray contributed three assists and Jimmy Knepp had a pair of helpers while Ryan Eife had one assist. Jake Kueny had nine face-off wins and Evan Bullotta had three.
Goalie Liam Rosenthal made nine saves.
Joey Beahan and Kueny led the Patriots with six ground balls each while Bullotta had four. Stout and Drew Bethke had two each while Melendez, Nick Walter, Mark Lapioli and Ryan McCauley had one ground ball apiece.
Bullotta and Kueny each forced two turnovers while Ryan Gray, Connor Martin, Eife, Beahan, Lapioli and McCauley had one each.
Central Bucks East (5-6, 3-2 SOL) will travel to Central Bucks South on Thursday, and Council Rock North (6-4, 1-3) will be on the road at Pennridge on Tuesday.

Pennsbury 12, Central Bucks South 10
Host Pennsbury rode the strong play of senior captains Colby Seneca and Nick Sutton to post a National Conference win over Central Bucks South.
“Captains Colby Seneca and Nick Sutton continue their strong senior campaigns,” Pennsbury coach Drew Artin said. “I’m really proud of Nick’s development and growth as an offensive leader. He’s been playing with a lot of confidence and coming up with clutch goals. He had a few saucy ones today.
“And Colby is just such a joy to watch play – he’s so tough and puts it out on the line for this team. He was a game changer for us and a throwback to the old two-way middies. Chestnut Hill College is getting a good one for the next four years.”
Sutton finished with a team-high four goals (two assists) while Will Anderson (one assist) and Avery Dysart (one assist) had two goals each.
Jesse Keaton (one assist, four ground balls), Josh Price, Seneca and Will Cusick each had a goal while Charlie Nuschke had five ground balls. Goalie Luke Nolan made 15 saves.
“Defensively, Will Cusick has stepped up for us and netted another goal on the season,” Artin said.“He’s a sophomore, but he’ll be on college radars when coaches see his size and skill-set. He has a very high ceiling and the sky is the limit for him.
“We’re a young team and continue to have growing pains that come with rebuilding, this was not a perfect game by any means. We will look to focus on our tenants and culture as we prepare for two tough matchups at the end of this week.”
Pennsbury (8-3, 3-1 SOL) will host Abington on Thursday, and Central Bucks South (6-6, 1-3) will host Central Bucks East on Thursday.

Council Rock South 11, Neshaminy 8
Visiting Council Rock South rallied in the second half to defeat Neshaminy in a National Conference game Tuesday. The Redskins took a 5-2 lead into halftime, but the Golden Hawk erupted for nine second-half goals. They took a 6-5 lead into the final quarter and outscored their hosts 5-3 to close out the game.
Luke Sermarini led Neshaminy with three goals while Noah Weiman (one assist) had two goals in the loss.Nick Donato (two assists), Connor McVey and Dawson Obringer had one goal apiece for Neshaminy.
Council Rock South (7-3, 3-1 SOL) will host Souderton in a non-league game Wednesday, and Neshaminy (7-4, 1-3) will host North Penn on Tuesday.

SOL Continental Conference
Souderton 18, Quakertown 2
Senior Cole Witoslawski poured in a school-record eight goals to help lead host Souderton to an 18-2 American Conference win over Quakertown on Tuesday.
Witoslawski, who will play in college at Widener University, had seven goals in the first half as the Indians were able to build an insurmountable 13-1 advantage by the intermission.
Witoslawski, who broke the record of seven set last season by Adam Booz, scored the first goal of the third quarter to set the new mark.
Matt Rauch (four assists), Brock Azeff (one assist) and Luke Halteman each added two goals for the Indians while Jamison McDivitt (one assist), Fearghas Evanick,Jalen White and Dylan Reinford had one goal apiece. Dylan Anderson contributed three assists, and Justin Wawrzynek had one assist.
Wyatt Williams and Luke Atiyeh each had six ground balls for Souderton while the Indians used three goalies, Axell Beskar (three saves), Hayden Grice (three saves) and Sean Brown (one save), in the victory.
“It was an all-around great team effort by every player who touched the field for us tonight,” Souderton coach Mark Princehorn said.
Souderton (7-5, 3-2 SOL) will be on the road at Council Rock South on Wednesday for a non-league game. Quakertown (3-8, 1-3) will host Hatboro-Horsham on Friday.

Wissahickon 7, Springfield Township 3
Visiting Wissahickon remained undefeated in the American Conference with a win over Springfield Township in a battle of unbeaten conference squads on Tuesday.
The Trojans, who improved to 5-0 in conference play, were led by the dominant effort of Matt Fritz at the face-off X where he won 12 of 13 face-offs.
“They got every face-off,” Springfield coach Hank Resch said. “That kid (Fritz) is a very good face-off guy. They dominated possession. We played pretty good defense for having to play that much defense.”
“Matt Fritz is just our emotional leader,” Wissahickon coach Dan Layfield said.
Brody Myers led the way with three goals and Harrison Williams had two goals and an assist in the win.
“This was a good win for us,” Layfield said. “We were finally able to take control in the fourth quarter and Harrison Williams had two big goals for us.”
Brett Lehman and Owen Baim had one goal each for the Trojans while Jackson Intrieri had two assists. Goalie Scott Pfeiffer made four saves.
“Defense really played lock down as well after giving up some transition in the first half,” Layfield said. “Owen Baim played pretty much the entire game and had some keys defensive stops and a goal to add in.”
Wilson Krewson, Paul Richardson and Austin Maggioncalda had goals for the Spartans, who trailed 4-2 at halftime.
“We were close,” Springfield Township coach Hank Resch said. “If we would have scored a couple of goals in the third quarter, we would have been right there, but we didn’t take advantage of things.
“We didn’t play bad, but they’re good. I think they’re the best team we’ll play.”
The Spartans trailed by just a 4-3 score heading into the final quarter when the Trojans closed it out with a pair of goals. The Spartans had no answer.
“We certainly played better defense than we did against GA,” Resch said of the Spartans’ 13-4 loss to the Patriots last Thursday. “That was a good thing
“I thought our goalie, Paul Asman, played well. Paul Richardson, our midfielder, played well, and our defense as a whole played well."
Wissahickon (8-3, 4-0 SOL) will travel to Upper Dublin on Thursday, and Springfield Township (5-4, 3-1) will travel to Pope John Paul II for a non-league game Wednesday.
Upper Dublin 6, Hatboro-Horsham 2
Six players each had a goal for Upper Dublin in an American Conference win over Hatboro-Horsham on Tuesday.
Zach Young (one assist), Vijay Foster (one assist), Brett Rama, Brian McCarry, Lucas Roselli and Jason Scott had goals for the Cardinals while Jayden Santangelo and Jason Williams each had one assist. Goalie Sam Hoffman made two saves.
Sam Fink (three ground balls) and Jason Kleintz (one assist) had goals for the Hatters while Ian Reilley (three ground balls), Jake Rickard (five ground balls) and Davis Wheeler (three ground balls) also played well. Goalie Joe Brophy made 10 saves.
Upper Dublin (5-6, 3-1) will host Wissahickon on Thursday, and Hatboro-Horsham (2-10, 1-3) will be on the road at Quakertown on Friday.
